Shore strings four painted enamel fish along a long gold-tone chain, each one in its own mix of colors, with tiny turquoise, coral and pink beads between them so there is something to look at all the way down. The chain is stainless steel with PVD gold plating that keeps its color through summer heat and salt water, and at 35.4" / 90cm plus a 2" / 5cm extender it falls low over a tee or an open shirt.

What PVD gold actually means
PVD bonds the gold layer into the steel rather than laying it on top like electroplate or vermeil, so it doesn't rub or flake, and the steel underneath can't rust or go green.

Wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it dry. No polishing compounds — they abrade plating.
Care instructions
PVD gold is hard-wearing, but it isn't chemically inert. Keep it away from chlorinated pools and hot tubs, bleach and household cleaners, and perfume, lotion or hairspray sprayed straight onto it — put those on first, let them dry, then put the piece on.
Water on its own is fine. It's the chemicals that do the damage.
