PVD stands for physical vapor deposition. It bonds a layer of real gold to stainless steel in a vacuum chamber, so the color is fused to the metal rather than sitting on top of it the way ordinary plating does. That is why our pieces are waterproof, sweatproof and will not tarnish.

Very little is needed. Wipe a piece with a soft dry cloth after wearing and store it somewhere dry and out of direct sun. Showers, workouts and swimming are all fine. Just avoid spraying perfume or hairspray directly onto a piece, and keep it away from harsh household cleaners.
