Calla gathers three carved shell petals around a small faux pearl, and because the shell is natural the soft cream and pale rainbow shimmer shifts a little from one ear to the other. Gold-plated copper edges trace every petal to keep the shape crisp, the posts are sterling silver, and at about 0.8" / 21mm across they read as a real detail without feeling heavy.

What PVD gold actually means
PVD bonds the gold layer into the steel rather than laying it on top like electroplate or vermeil, so it doesn't rub or flake, and the steel underneath can't rust or go green.
Care instructions
PVD gold is hard-wearing, but it isn't chemically inert. Keep it away from chlorinated pools and hot tubs, bleach and household cleaners, and perfume, lotion or hairspray sprayed straight onto it — put those on first, let them dry, then put the piece on.
Water on its own is fine. It's the chemicals that do the damage.
