PVD gold plating
Won't tarnish or turn green

Beth sets a smooth dome of marbled resin inside a PVD gold-plated stainless steel rim, and the swirls run a little differently on each stud, so your pair looks found rather than stamped out. At 1.01" / 26mm tall they have real presence at the ear, and they bring warm color to a plain white tee or a summer dress.

  • Marbled resin in a gold-plated rim
  • 1.01" / 26mm tall studs
  • Stainless steel push-back posts
  • Sensitive-ear friendly, tarnish resistant

What PVD gold actually means

PVD bonds the gold layer into the steel rather than laying it on top like electroplate or vermeil, so it doesn't rub or flake, and the steel underneath can't rust or go green.

Care instructions

PVD gold is hard-wearing, but it isn't chemically inert. Keep it away from chlorinated pools and hot tubs, bleach and household cleaners, and perfume, lotion or hairspray sprayed straight onto it — put those on first, let them dry, then put the piece on.

Water on its own is fine. It's the chemicals that do the damage.
